We live in a world that is dominated by digital platforms. For the musician and vocalist there are lots of ways to get online and keep income flowing.
Dance classes, vocal lessons, music lessons can all be done and taught online these days from the comfort of your home using a laptop or smart phone. Masterclass is a great platform for learning from the very best in the industry online. If you are someone that teaches then IGTV (Instagram TV) is a great way to advertise your lessons and link your website or webinar for further teaching. Great platforms to host webinars on are Wix, Zoom, Everwebinar, Google Hangouts and use WebinarJam for live events. Skype, Facetime, Whatsapp are still good platforms for communication depending on what you will be presenting.
Remote recording is another option for those of you with a home studio set up. Music is being released everyday, don't be afraid to contact producers or studios offering remote vocal/instrumental services for recordings. Use Musician Union, PPL and BPI forms if needed before committing to the session to have all the legalities covered. On the technical side you'll need a good microphone, laptop of course and a mixer for Vocals. If you don't have Logic it's not the end of the world Garage Band is good and has tutorials within it.
